Pizza Academy/Narrator – ‘Greetings From Twin Pine’

There's absolutely no better way to end a long 2024 than listening to Pizza Academy/Narrator's new split – Greetings From Twin Pine – out now!

While the band's will be releasing their songs as part of a full project, each entity has their own reasoning an inspiration behind their tracks:

From Pizza Academy: "I like to think of these songs as three stories: A lighthouse with no sea, a TV show background character, and a town in harsh winter. A lot of my inspiration for these songs came from my New England surroundings and the changing of the seasons. We’ve come a long way in terms of our songwriting and sound, and while of course I look forward to developing even more, I’m proud of these songs and I hope people find whatever they need in these stories."

From Narrator: "Our half of the split was recorded from two different countries, one of us in Germany and the other in the States. Both of us being only seventeen, we only had some old guitar amps, a broken drum kit, and a single SM58 each to our disposal. While our half isn’t the most polished, we learned as we went and we’re proud of the result."
